We aim to increase the use of environmentally friendly and sustainable methods of operation and technology in our establishments and thereby reduce the overall use of resources, raise awareness and create behavioral changes in staff, suppliers and guests.
We support local and offer scope for talent development and the well-being of employees, partners and people in our neighborhood. Met aims to contribute to an open judgment-free society. We’re all different, which is great! Therefore we want Met to be inviting to everybody, a second living room for hotel guests, apartment residents and local residents, including families.
Our degree of Corporate Social Responsibility is tested by Green Key. This has three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. The Green Key certificate can only be awarded after our official opening. Met Hotel Amsterdam is awarded the Green Key Gold status.

We aim to offer you an excellent stay and hope to encourage you to join us in building a better world. You can contribute by making conscious choices, such as participating in our towels and linen reuse program. Our rooftop features a moss-sedum green roof, improving temperature control, rainwater collection, CO2 absorption and it combats heat stress during summers in Amsterdam. To save energy, our hotel is fully equipped with LED lighting. In addition, we have a sustainable purchasing policy and we support local initiatives.
