At Met Amsterdam your safety comes first. Read below what we all do to offer you a safe and healthy stay.

COVID-19 measures

  • We have disinfectant gel in all public areas
  • We have removed bedspreads and carpet from our hotel rooms
  • We use disinfectants with 75% alcohol
  • There are clear social distancing signs and walking routes
  • We clean and disinfect the rooms after every guest
  • With a long stay, we clean and disinfect your hotel room every three days
  • Each hotel room is individually ventilated with 100% clean air
  • Our hotel rooms are equipped with easy to clean, innovative materials
  • Our laundry partners guarantee disinfected, clean clothes
  • We clean and disinfect our meeting room after every use

In case of suspected contamination, we have drafted protocols. This way we can tackle it efficiently right away. We ensure direct and clear communication to our guests and our staff.

Cautionary questions upon arrival

Upon arrival at Met Amsterdam we may ask our guests a few quick questions. If your answer is ‘yes’ to any of the following questions, you can’t be seated in the restaurant.

  • Have you had any of the following (mild) symptoms in the past 24 hours: a cold, cough, shortness of breath or fever (above 38 degrees Celsius)?
  • Do you currently have a roommate or family member with a fever or shortness of breath?
  • Have you had covid-19 (diagnosed by a lab test) and was it diagnosed in the past 14 days?
  • Have you been in contact with anyone diagnosed with or displaying symptoms of covid-19 in the past 14 days?
