Room for People with Reduced Mobility
Everyone is welcome at the MET, including all guests who have reduced mobility or use a wheelchair. Our two PRM (People with Reduced Mobility) rooms have the same luxurious interior design as the others in the hotel but with adapted facilities for wheelchairs.
Room features
A PRM room has wider doors and there are no door sills and thresholds. The entire hotel has a height difference of just half a floor, which you can simply bypass by using the lift. A guide dog is allowed in this room. The room has an adapted shower area with grab rails for extra support and a shower chair. The raised toilet is equipped with additional handrails on both sides. And with a washbasin that is adjusted to wheelchair height, freshening up is a breeze. A premium quality box-spring bed with Egyptian linen guarantees a good night’s sleep.
Our PRM rooms are located on the rooftop garden side of the hotel and offer views of the surrounding neighbourhood. A tilting window can be opened to let in fresh air and with the handy touchscreen control panel, it is very easy to adjust the air-conditioning settings as well as the lighting. You can recharge your devices or work on your laptop with the USB charger and the various power points in the room. High-speed WiFi keeps you connected with family, friends and colleagues and thanks to a smart TV and Chromecast, you can stream your favourite programmes and films.
Complimentary breakfast is brought to your room in the morning to be enjoyed at your leisure. There are three options – a continental breakfast, Dutch Delight and a healthy breakfast package. You can also make a delicious hot beverage in your room with the Lavazza coffee machine or the kettle. Should you need some light refreshments, feel free to get a snack and chilled drink from the Grab & Go bar (24/7) in the lobby. If you would like to enjoy a meal in your room, simply order something with your phone from the restaurant with a QR code.
We are happy to reserve an onsite parking space for our PRM guests.
